Ummmm, so…happy hour 3pm-10pm everyday with $2.50 drafts?? What’s the catch??? The catch is you become an alcoholic, destroy your liver, and ruin all your personal relationships.

Wow, moving to San Francisco has made me realize what’s it’s like to be a girl. Tons of dudes want to sleep with you, and you get to say, “neener neener neener, you can’t have it! But like why don’t you express interest and I’ll be kinda polite and you can give me some discounts and free stuff?” Fabulousss!!

In most of the circles I am around, not having a bachelor’s degree is kind of like having a tail. Their eyes open wide, and they give you a funny look. They don’t automatically discard you, but they are super skeptical of you. Would my life probably be easier if I just went back and finished the final 32 units? Yeah, probably. But I’m never fucking going to because I have a personal vendetta against our ridiculous and wildly ineffective higher education system and that’s just not how vendettas work.

San Francisco public transit onboard ticket machines are exact change only. Lesson learned. A 3 dollar lesson. I’ve had costlier.

But I want to be proven wrong. I love being wrong. When you’re right you don’t learn anything.

When I was a young child I remember having a discussion with my father about music. The tone of the conversation was completely amicable, but he mentioned something about how he didn’t like the current popular music, the music I would listen to. The conversation went something like this:
“WHAT?? Are you crazy?? This music is awesome!”
“This is an age old phenomenon, Dave, the older generation always dislikes the younger generation’s music.”
“No, I’m always going to like the current music.”
“Ok, ok, we’ll see.”
Well, 14 years later, I must go on record to say that I really strongly dislike EDM. I really don’t like it. I must also go on record to say that, Dad, you were right and I was wrong, dead wrong.
